New Turning Project…

We wound up with an odd job from a local cabinet shop in Bowling Green: Hands of the Hill. A client of theirs wanted some custom turned French-style rolling pins made from walnut beams that were recycled from old barn owned by his grandfather. These will be used as gifts later in the year, undoubtedly treasured by the family and passed down for years to come as a celebration of their heritage. We can’t wait to get started on this project and will have more to share later when we get to this point in our work queue!

This 114-year old wood will provide an excellent source for rolling pins…

We’ve got some work to do getting these nails out, but the wood will be beautiful once we get in there!
